Peter Stevens donated the materials to the Local History & Archives Department in July of 2006. In October of 2014, he requested to have a portion of his donation (negatives not related to the historical development of the city of Hamilton), returned to him. The request was granted by the Local History & Archives Department and the specific material requested was de-accessioned and returned to him.
Scope and content
Series consists of photographs, negatives and some contact sheets of some public events that took place in Hamilton, Ontario and were photographed by Peter Stevens. The events include the 1999 HamiltonTiger Cats Grey Cup Win and Champion Parade, as well as Heritage Day [n.d.] This series also contains a file on Peter Steven's Tobermory vacation and a file on the Transition Board Meetings [association unknown].
